How to Set up Agent Avatar Effectively?

After creating agents, don’t rush to support visitors immediately. There are a few things you should customize before that. One of them is setting up agent avatar.

What is agent avatar?

As you can see,  at top-left corner of every widget, there’s a small place to put agent’s avatar. Visitors will have a visual acknowledge about the person they’re chatting with.

To set up agent avatar, simply you just log into Dashboard, go Agent -> Edit and change Agent avatar. Remember to check the file size to make sure that it’s accepted.

 So what’s advice for changing agent avatar?

In real life, when you’re talking with someone, the face-to-face conversation brings chance to improve the effectiveness of communication. Somehow, you get the messages across quickly, even by looking into the eyes of partners.

But in digital life, you can’t expect something like that. But you can make conversation much realistic.

Many cases we see that people set up company logo, slogan, image as agent avatar. It is kind of general. Receiving feedback from visitors, most of them feel useless or even annoying. Therefore the best advice for you is using real picture of yourself to show up. It lets visitors feel that they’re chatting with real people.

But you need to remember to choose the picture presenting your face clearly because the place for this image is quite small. Together with “real people” picture profile, you also should name your agent like real name. It’s really helpful.
